The defensive midfielder's on-pitch hold and character in the midfield have caught a lot of eyes, with Liverpool also showing interest in signing the German earlier in the season. The Bundesliga club has reportedly put a price tag of €60 million ($68m/£51m) on Stiller.

After Modric's departure, Los Blancos are actively looking to sign reinforcements. After sorting out their defensive woes with the signing of Alexander-Arnold and Dean Huijsen, Alonso now wants to focus on the midfield.
