As Lineker, Hart and Alan Shearer talked about Ederson's Premier League record on BBC Match of the Day, the former England goalkeeper had a hilarious shot aimed at him by the host, Lineker. The former Three Lions striker asked Ederson's Manchester City predecessor, Hart, where he was on the list. The former Celtic star joked that there was a reason that Ederson was playing for the Citizens instead of him.

Hart was never considered a ball-playing goalkeeper and his lack of footwork was the reason Guardiola opted to look for a new goalkeeper when he took over at Manchester City in 2016. The England international, however, did pick up his first career assist when playing with West Ham in the 2017/18 Premier League season.
WHAT NEXT FOR EDERSON?
Despite his successes over the last few years, the Brazilian still has fewer clean sheets in the Premier League than Hart. The latter boasts 127 shutouts compared to Ederson's 116. With Ederson's future with City beyond this season in doubt, Hart's record may remain intact with the Manchester-based club.
