Barcelona are reportedly considering extending Robert Lewandowsk's contract despite being linked with Erling Haaland and Viktor Gyokeres.

The 36-year-old is out of contract next summer but according to Sport, Barcelona are likely to activate a clause in his deal that will extend his stay by another year. The report adds they could even prolong his stay at the Catalan outfit until 2027.

This comes days after Barca were linked with Manchester City talisman Haaland, 24, and Sporting CP star Gyokeres, 26. But due to the La Liga team's much-publicised financial issues, signing these prolific strikers may be a bridge too far. However, if Lewandowski can keep up his incredible goalscoring rate, which has seen him score 20 goals in 18 games so far this season, Barca may not need to dip into the market for at least another year.
