Newcastle United are reportedly interested in signing Crystal Palace loanee Conor Gallagher in January.
As to be expected, a number of Palace supporters were quick to flock to the rumour on social media.
According to Football London, as relayed by Sports Mole, the new Newcastle owners have placed Gallagher at the top of their midfield wish list ahead of a possible New Year swoop.
The 21-year-old has won back-to-back Player of the Month awards at Selhurst Park following his summer loan switch from Chelsea.
Gallagher has been a regular under Patrick Vieira in his season-long loan, starting six of the Eagles’ seven league games this term and scoring twice, but it appears as if the Magpies may want to cut his Selhurst Park stay short and discuss a deal with Chelsea.
