According to Opta Analyst, Salah has broken the 38-game record for the most goal involvements in a Premier League season (45) following his assist for Luis Diaz against West Ham on Sunday. The 32-year-old is now two off the all-time record (47) set by Andy Cole (1993/94) and Alan Shearer (1994/5) – both of which came in 42-match seasons.

Liverpool fans breathed a huge sigh of relief this week when Salah penned a new two-year deal with the club to extend his stay until 2027. The Egypt international is the Premier League's top scorer this season, and he appears to be showing no signs of slowing down.
