The beloved battle royale from Epic Games is gearing up for a huge event expected to launch later this week with the 2025 edition of “Fortnitemares” on the way. Rumors and leaks have teased a staggering list of crossovers for this year’s event, including Scooby-Doo, Poppy’s Playtime, and more coming to Fortnite. However, one particular collab is expected to serve as a highlight of the event.

Fortnite has seen plenty of buzz surrounding the heavily-rumored K-Pop Demon Hunters collab expected to serve as the major crossover for Fortnitemares. Fortnite has even begun to officially tease the collaboration, interacting with K-Pop Demon Hunters actor Rei Ami on TikTok. A new rumor is now giving an idea about a limited-time game mode coming with the crossover.

A recent post shared by prominent Fortnite community member ShiinaBR is hinting at an exciting new element of the K-Pop Demon Hunters collab. According to the update, the crossover will come with a brand-new limited-time mode called “Demon Rush”, reportedly acting as a remix of the “Horde Rush” mode themed around K-Pop Demon Hunters. ShiinaBR also teases the expected release date for the K-Pop Demon Hunters collab, with the event set to launch later this week on October 2. Fortnite has yet to officially reveal the game’s crossover with K-Pop Demon Hunters.

Fortnite K-Pop Demon Hunters Crossover Getting New Game Mode

Fortnite adding a new limited-time game mode for the K-Pop Demon Hunters crossover is far from the only new content expected for the collaboration. Trusted Fortnite leaker HYPEX has hinted at a plethora of content to come as part of the event, with K-Pop Demon Hunters emotes being a main focus alongside the new skins. The in-game appearance of one of the K-Pop Demon Hunters skins has also already surfaced ahead of the crossover’s official reveal, with renders appearing online of K-Pop Demon Hunters‘ Zoey in Fortnite.

K-Pop Demon Hunters is expected to serve as the centerpiece of a Fortnitemares event that is rumored to be packed with new content. Leaks have suggested that Fortnite‘s content releases for Fortnitemares may stretch over multiple weeks, with over 20 skins rumored to be appearing throughout the event. 2025’s Fortnitemares is currently expected to be the battle royale’s biggest Halloween event yet, with more Fortnite crossovers being leaked with each passing day. Fortnite fans should have lots to look forward to in October, with 2025’s Fortnitemares looking to be an event to remember.
